Still dont know a lot about the bag. She cost me two dollars on Saturday at the thrift store. She had corrosion on the hardware and leather. Brass hardware was also filthy and faded. Leather was in similar shape.
Heres the finished product. Pretty proud and I'm ending up keeping said bag for myself. If the bag looked like this at the thrift store it wouldn't last long.
Also this bag is atleast 33 years old! It went into storage in 1986. There was a reciept with the date on it. And then I guess it was donated. Given the condition it doesnt surprise me it was in someone's closet/box for decades.
