Hammitt Quality/Longevity

Hello!
I was curious about people’s opinions on Hammitt bags? I love the look of them, but the one time I got one (small Dillon, bought at Dillard’s), the zipper came out as soon as I got it home. Has anyone else had a bad experience with them, or is this more of a one-off?
The reviews seem to be really good, so I was really surprised when it happened! I want to try them again but I’m a little iffy on it.
Thoughts?

i just got my first Hammitt online from Dillards few hours ago! VIP large indigo color!!! Im not familiar with the brand, About reading all the reviews and the buttery leather, I gave in for a try! I will let you know when I get it in my hands

I've had mine for years and never had any quality issues with either of them. In fact, I recently purchased my third one, though I've yet to carry it. They wear really well in my experience. Unfortunately, I think you just got unlucky with yours.
