Hammered rose gold 20 motif or in stone(onyx/blue agate)?

Hi folks,

I want to own only 3 necklaces. I have rose gold pave vintage alhambra necklace. Planning on adding 20 motif for my 2nd forever piece and will be my only 20 motif.
I tried on blue agate only in store and usually I am a rose gold person. Recently have been exploring white gold jewelry. So I don’t know if chalcedony would be too much white gold commitment too soon. I am okay with yellow gold but don’t have any yellow gold pieces.
My 3rd necklace would be either diamond solitaire or diamond tennis necklace in white gold.

Anyways, Do you guys own 20 motif rg in hammered gold or onyx/ blue agate/chalcedony? If so, please share your experience.

Hello hard choice !
If you have blue eyes I would take blue stone to reveal your eyes blue colour then Agathe is perfect. Chalcedony for me was too pale near my face : but maybe try to try it on (even 10 motif or bracelet just to see the colour). If your eyes are green or brown then try malachite? I know a lot of people like WMOP but wouldn’t be my choice if you only get one long necklace : or maybe the GMOP ? That is MTO but 30% premium 😓

If you think you are a more gold person and that you won’t use a color 20 motif your whole life I would then go to hammered gold : either YG or WG depending what color of gold you will wear the most and like.
Anyway I think they are all beautiful you can’t really go wrong. The best is to try some pieces and take the time to narrow which speaks to you at the end.

I personally got the rose gold hammered 20 motif recently and also own the rose gold pave Alhambra pendant. I am a huge rose gold fan, don’t own any yellow gold, and have some white gold VCA as well but usually wear my rose gold pieces. It depends on your style. I personally wear a lot of white, beige, browns, and pink, so rose gold matches well. If you are looking for a pop of color, the blue agate will be beautiful since you already own a rose gold pendant and will add a white gold piece. The main question is, do you want a fun piece or more of a classic piece. How often do you see yourself wearing the 20 motif?
