Michael Kors Hamilton vs Jet Set ?

I don't have a jet set, but I love the Hamilton. I did see one jet set I thought about getting, but my bag purchases have been too frequent and I need to step away. :)

I have 2 Hamiltons and 2 Jet Sets. They are so different. Hamilton has some structure, is a bit edgy, modern, yet classic, great details with the lock but the leather isn't that buttery soft leather.

Jet Set leather is TDF!!!!!!!!! It's so soft and smooshy - these bags have no structure but the leather is like butter and gorgeous.

It's really hard to say. I'd say start with a Hamilton and maybe get a Jet Set later on? These seems to go on sale a lot too. I personally believe every girl should have one Hamilton in their wardrobe. ;)

I have several of both and love love love the jet set. I personally don't find the hamiltons very easy to use but think they're pretty. My large jet sets aren't being made anymore I don't think. I have one of the newer ones that are more square than north south and don't like the look as well. I have 7 of the jet set bags I think and they're one of my favorite bags ever.

Ooooooo choices... See.. I prefer structure. But love soft.. For me no structure = not finding anything = bottomless pit..

Plus I am short. LOL. I cannot do that slouchy look. I admire those that do!!

^^ Why do you find the Hamiltons difficult to use?

I'm not sure. They just were harder to get on and off my shoulder and to dig around for my stuff. I have a quilted one that I find too stiff for the larger size but the ones in the same size that aren't quilted folded over in an odd way and the smaller one was too small....just not for me I guess. But I do find them beautiful. My jet set bags are wonderful for me but maybe not for you if you like more structure.

Thanks! All good to know. I am going to look and some this weekend. :-)

They are such different styles that I think it would be hard to choose. The Hamilton is wonderful as a more structured bag; I use it for work-related meetings and when I'm more dressed up. The Jet Set seems to be an all-around classy tote that can be dressed up or down. Things are probably better organized in the Hamilton but I feel that the Jet Set might be a more versatile bag overall.

I vote for Hamilton... I don't have a jet set and it's also cute but I really like Hamilton and how structured it is... I have a few MK bags but I always go for more structured ones...

Oh how I missed TPF, been too long I'm not in touched with the world of baggies cos I'm currently heavily pregger n was sick since day one till now...

Well, anyway, here's my jet set in black with matching wallet..I love it cos it's a multiway bag n it's holding up so well, the leather is buttery soft n theres no problem at all on the hardware...give jet set a try n I'm going to purchase the medium Hamilton soon either the claret or purple..both r so gorgeous
