So I've had a couple of Hamiltons in regular leather here and there.. I actually really like how they soften but I don't like some of them how they just completely puddle. Soft leather is something I like also, but structure is nice and good to look at. I like the structure and look of the saffiano, but I think the feel of it is pvc ish. I have a purse organizer so I'm not too worried about it just collapsing. I am about to buy a large Hamilton (don't have one currently) and am trying to decide between the Saffiano and the regular. What are your votes and why?

Saffiano! Yes, it isn't as soft to the touch and doesn't smell as amazing as normal leather, but I think the largerHamilton looks so much better structured. And since you already have some normal leather Hamiltons, why not add a saffiano Hamilton to the mix?

While I love both the regular and saffiano leathers, I prefer saffiano. I think the Hamilton looks so pretty as a structured bag.

That being said, I plan to add a soft leather Hamilton to my collection this fall :smile1:

I have been on the fence about the Hamiltons since they came out. And I realized because I didn't like the slouchy look of the Hamilton in the larger sizes. Saffiano Hamilton = sold!

I got a purple one that was marked down. I think it looks really sharp. Passerby always comment. :)

I definitely like the saffiano for the bigger hamiltons.

I just got the saffiano in navy and wouldn't have it any other way... given the style, i think it's the only way to go.

don't get me wrong, i love me some soft leather (esp. the smell) but this particular style doesn't lend itself to soft, smushy, puddling leather IMO.

Staffiano, I also own the navy as well as 6 other hamilton
I am looking to add the black and luggage staffiano as well
Soft is nice but does not stand up an beg attention like the staffiano

Thanks for all of the opinions. I ordered a black saffiano with gold hardware (came today.. beautiful!!!) AND the black regular leather with silver hardware (will be here tomorrow) and then I will decide. I am torn since I do work but dress pretty casual most of the time if the regular will be better for me. Decision, Decisions... this black w gold saffiano is a beauty though!!!!

Hey girl~ I can't wait to hear what you decide and your review. I have had both. I prefer the Softer leather. The Saffiano is pretty stiff. Again...if Michael could make it in between:graucho:...That would be fabulous. Also, when you get your comparison bag in tomorrow, will you please snap a few pics so we can see them on as a comparison? It would be fabulous to see. I currently have Luggage in regular leather and love the feel.
