Hi!!:flowers:I am wondering if anyone else has bought from this line and your thougts. I bought this dress and when it arrived, I thought the fabric was shinier than what I wanted. I am thinking about purchasing another item but thought I would ask for information from here first!! Thanks!!:flowers:

I almost bought that white dress but I found that some of the dresses on the rack were pilling, have you found that to happen to yours? I'm still debating whether I want to buy it or not.

:yes:Plus the fabric was really shiny too. I am hoping it was just the one dress and not the whole collection...:wonderingI don't think I would buy the white dress if I were you.:flowers:

I've tried on a few of these at Bloomies and I noticed that one had a run it it and one of the others was piling. All of the dresses I've seen have been shinny.

LaVan: Yes, they are pretty thick. Don't think they are high-quality.

It is the dress from SATC2, but it's polyester. I was soooo excited when it arrived in the stores, but I didn't feel that the quality of the fabric would withstand the test of time. Most of the Halston Heritage line was made of the same kind of fabric. I was very disappointed in the entire line. :(

I have the same White Dress, and agree that the fabric is not expensive looking. It does have a nice drape and the shini-ness sorta adds to the "Studio 54 look" for me so it doesn't bother me too much. :p

I also bought the Purple Pleated Dress with silver detail from the same movie as well and that one is much better in terms of material IMO - it's silk. Did you manage to try that one instead? Maybe you can change for that if you are looking for something of better quality or is more enduring instead?

Accessorize*Me May I just say a huge:ty:!!! I I agree the white dress has amazing drape, sadly I don't like the shiny fabric...I am going to the store tomorrow, I will try this dress on. If this works I will be soooo happy!!! Again thanks for the idea!!:flowers:

I don't mind jersey at all I just don't care for super shiny jersey:thinkin:I guess!!

someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think SJP just became one of the creative designers at Halston, which explains why several of the designs appear in the SATC 2 movie. I really like the blue dress but don't think it would work on my body type.
