Hall Paper Weight Leather

I was browsing the Coach website and stumbled upon their Hall pieces made with what they called “paper weight leather” and say that it is super lightweight.

Does anyone have any experience with this leather? Or the Hall items? I’m curious if lightweight leather means thin and delicate and not great for day to day wear.

Never heard of it but the items made from it seem to have glowing reviews on the coach site.
