Wondering if others think a thread like this is a good idea. Other designer forums have one. When I'm researching a bag or an eBay (or other) seller, I always check in at TPF, especially if it's a new-to-me-brand. I've done pretty well over the years avoiding questionable eBay purchases, but I'm usually familiar with the brands. Although I've learned about some LC fake things to look for, it would have to be really obvious for me to see something fake, and we can't always count on the sellers pix to be an accurate representation. This thread wouldn't clutter up the authenticate thread, and would be a handy place to check an item or seller before purchasing, and maybe might help others who might consider buying from a seller listed here.
Recently, I decided I wanted an LC or 2 for an upcoming trip. Specifically, looking for a LH Le Pliage large and/or a LP Neo med. I'm amazed at how many eBay LC sellers or their listings look a little scary. I did end up buying both bags from Gilt and Century 21. But, Somewhere in between, I purchased a bag from eBay, which was deemed fake in the authenticate thread, based on the listing.

Item is listed as located in Naples, FL and shipping USPS. A week after ordering, and asking seller for a tracking no., one shows up; shipping DHL from Hong Kong. I will be returning this bag, whenever it shows up. Hope no other TPF'ers bought one.
