I've worn it with a light jacket and it fits okay. I haven't tried it with a heavy coat as it's not been that cold here. BTW, it's incredibly lightweight worn with the shoulder strap, almost like you're not carrying anything.
I havent tried it yet here in the good ole midwest,but will trying that over my leather coat fairly soon i would imagine. im outside of Chicago and it gets damn cold here in Winter.
