Hair accessories?

 Shimma, are you still looking for a thin headband that will fit your head?

pb, you are so sweet to remember that!

And yes, I did finally find some - just simple elastic things - again at CVS (I buy so many prescriptions there that I get anything in the store pretty much for free)

But I am going to hang onto this link, because the CVS ones are plain. When I have some money, I may want to talk to this lady about something bling-y...

Thanks!

Shimma, you're most welcome.

More hairclips, hair pins ...

passerby, those clips are beautiful! but I was looking for those crystal "claw" type of hair clips.. I don't know any stores that sell them.. so I bought some at a stand in the mall lol ;)

That crystal and silver one looks like the little clip things I got at CVS.

And nycgirl, check there for rhinestone claw things, I got one shaped like a butterfly, with the same aurora borealis and clear crystals as the clip things.

Also, Sally's is a good place for hair bling, but the prices are higher than at the CVS, but still pretty good. The most expensive one I have seen there is $15.

Also, I noticed that the headbands I got that work, both the elastic ones that go all around and the "hard" fabric ones that don't, seem to be intended for "tweens," so if you have the same "small head" problem that I do, look for tween stuff. I lucked out and got plain ones, but you may have to wade through a lot of horrid little bears and things to find them!

swarovsky (sp?) has some pretty sparkly hairclips. i tried on some the other day as i saw them on the window display when i walked passed the store....the ones i tried on cost around C$160+tax, so i didn't get them. i don't really need them, so i'm not willing to pay so much for something my 3yr old will end up using for dress-up plays. they're very very nice though. you can check them out on their website.
