I stopped by a Marshall's today on a whim because we have no Michael Kors store or outlet nearby. They had a large bag called a Kenton that was TDF. It was buttery soft and smooth dark brown leather with braided handles and gold hardware and lacing down each side of the front and back. It was a good sized bag that had a leather strap that snapped to hold the sides in and a magnetic snap to hold the top together.
It was half price at $249 and I was SO tempted. I walked around the store for about half an hour with it on my shoulder and walked past every mirror I could find. Each time I did, I thought, "Now THAT'S a sharp bag!" But I JUST bought a Michael Michael Kors bag that I've been using for less than a week (I haven't even taken pics to post yet!). And a bag that doesn't close securely across the top just isn't right for me, no matter how beautiful it is.
But I just wanted to share my sadness. This bag was AMAZING. The leather seemed such a high quality to not be a Michael Kors bag and instead to be a Michael Michael Kors. I don't know when the Kenton was from, but between the quality of that bag and the amazing style of the Hamiltons, Michale Kors has REALLY stepped up his game. I think I am more interested in more Michael Kors bags than in Coach...
