Had my Gucci authenticated by two companies and two answers...

Hi all,

I bought my Gucci mini Marmont flap bag from Tradesy (It's the nude color I love and no one has it-- not even Gucci. I've contacted them and they are sold out and I've been reading it may not come back in that color for that style)

She's a high power seller and has been on there a while, selling many luxury goods. She assured me her items are real and she'd be happy to give my money back if proven inauthentic by a third party or if it goes back to Tradesy and it deemed inauthentic. She said she stands by her products. I tried to get it authenticated on here, but no response, as I do understand it's a free service and there was a chance I wouldn't hear anything.

I used Bagaholic101 first, just sending the QR code and the logo/serial number. They said based on the photos I sent, they see red flags on the tags and do not think it's authentic.

I also used another company, *****************, paid for the written letter and certification of authenticity, by providing all the photos they requested which were of the whole bag, details, etc and they deem it to be authentic.

Should I get a third opinion and who do I get it from??

For my peace of mind, if I was in your situation, I will just return it and not bother with a third opinion. Would you be really at peace knowing that one authenticator thinks it is not authentic?

Tradesy doesn't offer full refund unless it's found to be inauthentic- which you can send back and they'll inspect it for you to determine that or you can try to have backing from a third party authenticator.

May I ask why why to just return it base on using A u t h e n t i c a t e First? Is this a bad company? They have really good reviews, where as Real A u t h e n t i c a t i o n has very poor reviews.

hi no, that was not the seller. I ended up actually just returning it — I had a guy I found online who felt it wasn’t real, but the other authenticator thought it was. Very confusing! In the end, I had it sent to Tradesy who determined it was real, but thankfully they refunded me anyway. I just didn’t want to chance it. I feel like fashionphile is better. I bought one from them and the same guy who thought my first one was fake, thought this one was real.

Never heard of them. Did you get your bag back? if you did, have it authenticated here or Authenticate4u.

Or Maybe lollipuff. I haven't heard a lot about them, but it's still more than 'WeAuthenticate'

It's best to get multiple opinions on stuff like this in my experience.

Does anyone know if authenticate4u is still working? I’ve emailed them afew times no reply and phone goes straight to voicemail!!
Need to get couple of bags looked at x
