I’ve never been completely satisfied with my face shape. My cheekbones were too wide, my jaw was a bit square, and I always felt like my chin was too weak. So, after thinking about it for a while and researching, I decided to go for 3D facial contouring surgery in Seoul.
The consultation process was really professional. The surgeon explained exactly what could be done, and I felt like they were focused on getting the most natural result for me.
I was a bit nervous because this was my first major surgery, but the team made me feel comfortable. The surgery took around 6 hours, and I was under general anesthesia. When I woke up, I felt pretty groggy, but nothing unbearable. Swelling and bruising were expected, but I was given pain relief, so it wasn’t too bad.
The first 2-3 days were tough. I had to sleep sitting up to reduce swelling, and I was pretty swollen, especially around my jaw and cheeks. I had a drain for a day, which wasn’t too uncomfortable. The swelling started going down after about 4-5 days, and by week 2, I could see the shape of my jaw and chin starting to come through.
It was a little tight around the jaw for the first couple of weeks, but nothing that stopped me from doing my usual activities. I followed all the aftercare instructions, and the clinic was really responsive if I had any concerns.
It’s been about a month, and I’m really happy with the results so far. My jawline looks much sharper, my cheeks are more balanced, and the V-line I always wanted is finally here. It’s noticeable enough like my desired look that I feel much more confident.
If you’re considering this procedure, I’d be happy to share more about my experience and recovery. Let me know if you have any questions!
