Interesting… maybe it’s a Europe thing or France (where I’m based) or something specific to my SA…
He just looks at overall customer profile. He certainly would not pick out the SPA amount (which was a big amount in my last case).

In the U.K. and Europe there is no such thing as pre-spend - there I’ve said it. I don’t think there is individual commission either (though I could be wrong about that) I think they are usually quite happy to spa things (they don’t call it a spa) but i doubt there is any profit in that. If I take something to the spa, I would also make a small purchase as well.
I had items done in London but thinking of taking them to Paris next time, just to see if it’s quicker.

No, Not in NY or FSH. It’s aftercare service, not a purchase of goods.
I have spent quite a bit on spa services

As per my FSH SA, there is no prespend or individual commission there.
This is also my personal experience as I’ve received multiple FSH QB offers with relatively minimal spend

No. Completely separate department and separate internal P&L.
I'm just going to reinforce this.
Hermes is a corporation. The way profits are reported is quite clear (you can always read the annual report).
Apres-vente is not considered a profit center. I live in France and have a home (and a passport) in the US, and this is the case for both countries.

FWIW, the bookstore and cafe in Sèvres don't "add to your profile" either. I dearly hope that no rumor ever spreads that they do, because they will never be chill, calm spots again.
