Hello ladies,
I need some help, I want to buy both kelly watches, the H store near me said they no longer order the Kelly 2 and only have it in one color, which is a color I am not so thrilled about. So hear is my question...
Does anyone know anything about this site, Orolus.com they claim the watches are 100% authentic and in fact come with a two year warrenty from Hermes, is this possible, I thought only H and their authorized dealers like London Jewlers can sell their stuff. If anyone has any info please advise.
I just looked at their site and I'm not one hundred percent sure they actually stock the watches they advertise on their website. Their info page
says that:
1. Please note that Orolus.com is not an authorized dealer for the brands sold on this site. However, the watches are obtained directly from authorized dealers with the serial numbers intact and with the original manufacturer's warranties. In this manner, Orolus.com acts as the middle agent between the buyer on our site and the authorized dealer on the street. The warranty provided will be stamped and validated, thereby allowing our customers to refer to any dealer worldwide for their service/repair needs.
You're correct, no one other than Hermes.com can officially sell H watches over the internet. Even authorized dealers like tourneau.com only offer vintage H watches on their website. This site might actually have the watches in stock, but if they do, it's likely they're partnering with an authorized reseller to circumvent the ban on internet sales.
I also thought the "retail prices" on the website were all too high, but as they're based in Malaysia, maybe that's the actual price there. Their selling price is a bit lower than what it would be in a US store, but not substantially so -- less than 3%, which might be erased if you have to pay duty on it.
Your local H isn't willing to do a global search for the color you like? I'd really suggest buying only from an authorized reseller just in case warranty work needs to be performed.

Maybe H has relented a bit on letting authorized dealers sell via the internet. Tourneau does have a few new H watches on sale, but not the one you're looking at.
