Guilloche chain twisting

Hi everyone. Does your VCA guilloche pendant chain twist while it's on your neck? I kinda couldn't get used to the asymmetrical look and the constant need to center the pendant and to correct the twisted chain.

Secondly, what are your favorites for another everyday necklace around the same price range? Yea, getting bored with my guilloche already.

I did. The sales told me to lengthen it, I did too. Still twist a little but a lot better.

When you say twist and becomes asymmetrical, do you mean that it looks longer on one side than the other and hence doesn’t look centered? Mine doesn’t do that

Hi Smokie. No, these are two separate problems for me. Chain is twisted around itself. But the asymmetrical look has to do with how the pendant sits on the chest. It's hung by two chains on the sides, and also sticks a little to the chest because it's flat, that's why it's not always at the center.

I recall reading a lot of ppl have the twisting issue on the white gold guilloche holiday pendant.
Sounds annoying.

My 2016 holiday pendant chain twists. It doesn’t look asymmetrical, just shorter. Feels shorter too. It happens after a full day of wear.

I have heard others having an issue however, I do not have an issue with my Guilloche pendant. I also have not had it lengthened.

I’ve never had this issue with my holiday pendants (one of which is the guilloche I wish we could get to the bottom of this and figure out why this happens to some but not all!

My pendant is not extended. I wear it directly on my skin as well as on top of shirts. I wear it at both lengths but mostly the longest original length.

I had this issue with my guilloche WG 2020 holiday pendant and had it extended two inches and it has sat perfectly since then.

I’ve never had this issue with my holiday pendants (one of which is the guilloche I wish we could get to the bottom of this and figure out why this happens to some but not all!

Someone mentioned here that it could be your anatomy (i.e, neck length, width, etc). I believe it.
I have both the YG and WG versions and none twist nor ride up my neck too much...my neck is a tad bit on the shorter side for reference.

I also have twisting with my WG guilloche holiday pendant and it’s very annoying. I don’t have the issue with my MOP magic pendant. So weird.

I'm curious how it's twisting. Is it twisting on the back of the neck?
