So, I'm waiting for a AW Marti bag, but I don't know if it's the original or the mini version. So I thought - why not make it a guessing game with the purseforum ladies? :)

A little backstory: The girl selling it had received it as a gift and didn't know much about AW bags, so she didn't know which size it was but said that she believed it was the mini. She sent me these measurements: 14,5 x 16 inches (37x40 cm) which made me think it's the original.

The bag should arrive soon, so guess away until it arrives! :yw:

Sounds like the original size to me! I have it with rosegold hardware and it's been my everyday bag for the past year. I wear it as a shoulder bag with one of the zippered straps. Enjoy your new bag :)

I loooove the rosegold hardware! I went with the silver on this one, but I'm thinking rosegold on a Rockie for my next purchase. :amuse: How has your bag been holding up, is it showing any wear yet? Thank you, I'm hoping it's the original (fingers crossed!) :)

It has arrived! :loveeyes: And I'm glad to announce that it's the original size (not that the mini isn't gorgeous!). If someone is curious about the price I got it for 290 Euros (320 Dollars).. I can't believe what an awesome deal I got on this bag. One of the buttons to secure the flap had come undone and that's why she decided to sell it for.. nothing. The tags are still attached for gods sake!:amazed: It has a few barely noticeable scuffs, but I've seen worse go for a lot more.

Congrats on getting such a great deal! I think you'll find the missing snap to be a very minor flaw...I never snap mine shut! To answer your question, my bag has held up pretty well with very slight wear on the edges.

Thank you! Hope I don't come off as smug, I just wanted to share the amazing deal and that patience (and obsessive behavior) actually pays off sometimes :D.

haha I was just thinking that Pandora07, I don't think I will either! I might just get it put in again, since I have it, but only for cosmetic purposes :smile1:. What worries me are the parts were the shoulderstraps are attached (the bottom part), I'm scared that the little leatherflaps will come undone or start to tear apart from the bag itself. But you haven't had this problem?
