Lol, I can relate. I also LOVE purple and I'm having to make a conscious effort to a) not buy every pretty purple bag I see and b) buy bags in other colors.
I have a Legacy Turnlock Tote in purple, as well as a tote I got from Last Call, a Furla candy bag and a MK Hamilton EW Satchel. I don't really have any use for more purple bags than that.....but I have to work really hard to remember that, lol.

I love purple too, but have yet to get a purple bag recently. I have a couple of cheap ones I'm going to sell or give away. I love the darker, richer purple bags I've seen lately like your XL! Purple it's next on my list, now that orange has been fulfilled!
Another purple lover here. Speaking of which: have any of you seen the Avery at the outlets in the new color: Indigo? A dark eggplant purple with silver hardware and a tassel. It's lovely and lightweight. It was difficult for me to walk out without it. I try not to buy anything unless I really want it and I admit to a prejudice against MFF bags. That being said, since this is a new color, I know it will be around the next time I get to an outlet, around the first of April. If you like purple, this could be a good summer bag because of the weight. Just an enabling thought for you fellow purple lovers. 
Love purple and tan bags. Have a marine purple Legacy and a black violet Madison already but will definitely buy more purple.( Love leopard prints too.) Great taste, especially love your XL drawstring bag, have been looking at that one lately ! Enjoy !

Such a unique color for a bag -- and it's a surprising neutral -- goes with black, gray, navy, cream, tan, emerald green (gorgeous combo!), pink, etc etc -- and so many gorgeous shades of purple out there!
