I was thrilled to get this bag at Paris airport at a good price. I accidentally got a scratch on it with my nail while admiring it when I got home! I called my local Gucci store and was told to try Coach Leather Moisturizer with a white cloth. Has anyone tried this and had successful results?? I've attached pics.

With this smooth leather you will get lots of scratches like this. Rub it with your finger now and again and the natural oils of your skin will help it blending in. But if Gucci itself has recommended that moisturizer you can try it too. Personally, I would leave treatments for when the bag has got much more use. Otherwise, if you put on a cream each time there is a scratch you'll run the risk of over treating it.

Thanks doni!! I was very hesitant to buy it because of the delicate leather but I really liked the color and size! Thanks for the tip to wait until i get more scratches before using the cream.

I have the same bag in black, wear it a ton, with and without the strap. Gets scratches here and there, but disappear with some light rubbing with your finger tips just like @doni suggested. The calf skin in this bag is very durable.
BTW, love the green.

You shouldn't need to condition brand new bags.

Agree with others, you will get scratches but eventually they'll create a nice patina. The scratch looks minimal, try just your finger otherwise leave and enjoy.
