I was debating on buying my first pair of Gucci shoes. I was looking at these pairs that I have attached photos of below, or several chunky loafers. I’m not much of a flats girl as I’m pretty short and would like some height lol. Anyone have any Gucci boots or the chunky loafers? Do they wear well and last long, and are they comfortable for wearing and walking in for long periods of time? And which do you prefer out of the ones I’ve picked? I really like all of them but not sure if the huge GG logo is too obnoxious...if you don’t like any what would you recommend (that aren’t flat shoes)?

You will find lots of wearers and info on the Marmont styles on here: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/gucci-marmont-shoes-lets-spread-the-love.952351/

I do not find the GGs on the shoes "obnoxious" at all so long as you are not dripping all sorts of other logos.

The middle loafers are probably my favourite, but I think it would depend on your body/leg shape as to which look better. I think if you have a very slim physique or narrow calves stick to the Marmonts.

I like the first pair, I own these in red. They are very comfortable and heeled loafers are a major trend for spring/summer so you can’t go wrong. IMO Gucci reigns supreme in regard to loafers. I have flat Braxton and Jordaan loafers as well, love them.

I have the top pair. They are very comfortable. I wear them to the city and walk many blocks with no issue The GG are not obnoxious to me. It is a classic shoe and I like the heel

So, I tried on the Gucci Marmont fringe shoes yesterday and WOW they are gorgeous and look sooo cute (the black suede ones). Unfortunately, my usual size 7 felt a bit wide and kept slipping off my foot when I walked :( I tried the 6.5 but it felt very narrow at the toe and a bit tight. Did you get your normal size or size down? Do they stretch at all? They were so comfortable it felt like walking on a pillow, that never happens to me with heels!

It sounds like a width mis-match rather than the length. This is why Ferragamo have different widths in some of their shoes (last time I looked that is). You can see from the box these rounded-square toe shoes would fit a normal-wider foot better tan a narrow.

Could you try with half socks as an extra? Some of these have padding under the front of the foot too. But I agree unless it's  there's no point.

Or you could go for the boot. They would keep your foot in place.
