Very sorry for another one of these threads. After investing in a couple of LV bags, I'm interested in getting the Gucci Marmont matelassé mini bag to add to the collection as an early 30th birthday present. Do you think that is age appropriate for 30s and beyond? Also, I noticed (in my area) that younger people tend to go for Gucci more than LV....why is this even though prices are similar?

I think Gucci is just very trendy right now! I just turned 30 and was considering the Marmont mini camera bag as my birthday gift to myself, but ended up getting a Boston I'd always wanted off of Tradesy. I say go for it if you love it! It's timeless and you will enjoy it for years to come. Happy early birthday!

I don't consider handbags to have age restrictions. I love my Gucci Marmont and I am young at heart.

@sparksflyy is prob. correct, young people often what whatever is in fashion but I agree with @vinbenphon1 too, (most) Gucci is timeless and the Marmont is about as classic as they come.
