Gucci Super Mini Marmont vs LV Pochette Felicie

Hi everyone,
I am fairly new here and I would like some advice on which to bag to purchase. I am deciding on either the Felicie Monogrma or the Super Mini Marmont in nude. Both bags are beautiful with pros and cons. I am worried about purchasing the Felicie as I’ve seen from a couple of videos that there is a glazing issue and the flap curls upwards due to the snap closure and canvas. On the other hand, though it is gorgeous, I am not sure whether the super mini marmont bag will still be fashionable in a couple years as some say it will go out of style, whilst LV is timeless and the felicie is more sought out right?
I’ve worked really hard and would like to treat myself to my very first designer bag, so some advice on which to go for would be really helpful!

Hi! I’m also having a hard time selecting my first designer bag. I’m looking at two LV bags and I’ve been researching tips on how to make that first designer purchase. Here are some helpful suggestions/questions to ask yourself that I’ve found:

-consider where/when you’ll be using the bag
-do you live in wet climates which may require more maintenance of certain bags?
-is the bag functional for its purpose?
-does it make your heart sing?

I also recommend trying both on you to see how they look and feel...this can make a huge difference! I learned this first hand at a local LV boutique. Another reason to go in store is that the sales associates can be super helpful! They’ll understand this is a big purchase and will help make suggestions for you. I hope that helps, and congratulations I’m sure you’ll love whatever you choose.

Hi! I have both and the PF was my first designer bag! I got it because at the time I thought it would be a better purchase (more bang for your buck as it comes with the two inserts) reality is that I have not used them for anything! I would say go to the shop and try both of them. Personally I like the Marmont more as it is more vavavoom but I can also tell you that the PF is a great bag too! Let us know what you end up doing!
