Gucci Soho Disco vs Balenciaga Metallic Edge Mini City for travel bag?

Hi! I've been saving up to buy a crossbody bag. I will mainly use it for travelling (day to day sight seeing) and likely errand running so I really want it to be versatile, comfortable to use and easy to access.

I am currently deciding between the 2 bags below. Any of you have both or one of these bags? Do you love them? are they great for travelling? Thanks!

Both are good choices. I think the Gucci Disco fits a bit more. I own the Gucci Disco in black and reach for it a lot. I took it with me to Singapore recently, but ended up using my small Longchamp Le Pliage more during the day only because I also like to carry a bottle of water and some items for my son. I did use the Gucci for walking around and going out for dinner in the evenings when I carried less. I do love my Gucci Disco and find it to be very versatile.

I’d personally pick the balenciaga bag just because i find it a lot more attractive, stylish and I think it helps elevate an outfit.

Based on your requirements though, the gucci soho seems to be a better fit for you. I have a very similar camera bag style from ysl and yes it’s perfect for running errands, traveling, very easy to wear like i don’t have to worry about it, i use it soo much.

I'd choose Gucci - it has a classic look that works for almost any occasion.

I have the Gucci in suede and it's just a very easy bag. All day, casual evening or day > evening, no problem.

I like the Bag but the edges are the wrong kind of gold to fit into my everyday wardrobe. If you love rg and you think the rg trend will continue then that's also a cool, relaxed look too.
