Hi Everyone. 4-5 years ago, when the Gucci soho disco bag was $800, I bought it in black. Since then, I have rarely used this bag. I find it's too casual to dress up, and when I’m dressing casual, I just prefer a larger bag. I submitted it to fashionphile for an estimate, and they came back with $600. Do you think it’s worth letting it go for that amount? I’ve never sold a bag before, or do you think it’s good to keep it around just in case I need a small casual bag.

If you don’t use it then definitely sell it. It is unlikely that you will miraculously fall in love with the bag over the next few years. Use the money to buy something you will love and use. I too find it too casual for my taste. Good luck!

I sold mine in Dec 2019 in excellent condition and got most of my money back, so I think you can do better. I agree with you in the way that I wasn't a fan of how casual it was, so I got rid of it. No regrets at all.

Bags I've sold in recent years have been through Facebook groups, selling only luxury goods. Some are region-based, so I would go for groups based on members in your country.

that’s a great idea... I’m not on Facebook, but I can definitely try other places for a higher resale value. It seems as if fp is giving 50 percent of current retail.

I have the same issue with my marmont mini camera bag. I just don’t use it and it sits in my closet. I’m thinking about selling it for €690, I bought it for €790 and the price now is €890.
Good luck selling yours!
