Gucci Soho disco strap peeling

Hi everyone
I just got my soho disco bag yesterday.
I found that the back of the strap has a few areas that are peeling. Is it lightly to get worse?
Does anyone else have this issue ? should I return or keep

Do an exchange. I had mine over a year and it has no peeling

I would exchange. I have used mine in rain, snow etc and it has no peeling.
