Has anyone purchased or tried on the Gucci "women's slide with double G sandal"? I've also seen them called the Jolie or the Marmont slide. I would LOVE to purchase a pair in brown, but the few reviews I've found are mixed (some people swear they're incredibly comfortable, and some say that the leather is stiff around the edges and hurts their feet). To complicate matters, I'm a difficult fit -- my right foot is 6.5C, my left is 6D and I have narrow heels-- so I'd be particularly interested in learning whether any of my fellow wide-footed women have thoughts on these.
If these won't work for my duck feet, does anyone have suggestions for a tan, "goes with everything," classic looking sandal? I'd really prefer a slide style. I'd hoped to get to an Hermes boutique to try the Oran, but I live in the middle of nowhere and it doesn't look like that will be happening anytime soon. TIA for any info you can provide!
