Hi everyone. Do any of you have experience with Gucci repairs? I recently became a Gucci Sukey Boston mom again (I say again because I sold mine years ago and regretted it ever since) but it's missing the longer shoulder strap. I called Gucci after sales and they said I'd need to send it in to be evaluated and they'd let me know if they could replace that strap or not. I really don't want to be without it again for two weeks when it took so long to find it in the Guccissima and color I wanted, and I wonder since it's older if they'd even be able to replace it anyway (in which case it would suck to be without it so long just to have them say "sorry"). Am I likely better off just using Mautto or something? If anyone has any other strap replacement website recommendations I'm open to them. TIA!

They can replace like with like but it will cost (only Gucci can tell you how much). You may be better off with a generic replacement strap unless you really think it's worth it to you.

I ended up ordering one from Mautto. I called a Gucci boutique and the SA said because it's so old Gucci likely won't have a replacement and then I'll have waited 6-8 weeks for nothing. Lame. They really should sell straps. And thank you to the person who pointed out that LV sells straps, I actually need one for my Papillon as the straps are too short for my taste.
