Gucci Repair?

    My Jockey Tote fabric is rubbing off and I've had it about a year. Wondering if Gucci will do anything about it. I have had Coach bags do this and they have replaced them. I don't have any expeience with Gucci's customer service. Has this happened to your bag and what did Gucci do? TIA!

    I have canvas bags from 2009/2010 and they don't wear down like that. Those areas look like cuts to the fabric (with fraying along the cut marks) rather than the material naturally wearing down. Did you purchase this bag at the boutique or online such as ebay (and had it authenticated)?

    You can bring it in to the boutique and the SA will send it out for repairs but you will have to pay for the repairs. There is also a $20 assessment fee which if you decide to go with the repairs, it will be included in.

    There are no cuts, it definitely wear. It's worn/rubbed on the the creases where it folds. It was purchased at the Gucci outlet. I do not have a full price store in my area. Can I take it in to the outlet for repair? (I tried attaching larger pics to see the damage better but I can't figure out how....)

    I have inquired about older bags that show wear like coming apart at the seams or some rubbings and I was told that there is nothing they can do about it. I think its because they would have to replace the whole panel of fabric.
    But try taking it down to them to see what they say.
