Gucci Repair Center for Vintage Piece?

Hi tPFers!

Has anyone ever dealt with Gucci’s repair center? I bought a vintage GG cosmetic case off the RealReal and would be interested in getting the leather interior relined. I don’t have the original proof of purchase or anything like that...

Anyone have any advice on how to go about this and/or an idea of price?

Disclaimer. This information holds true to a few years ago but Gucci have possibly reviewed the repair policy since then

You can send it away for a repair but it will cost, possibly as much as the 'bargain'. Gucci will issue you with an estimate and you will have to agree before going ahead. If Gucci don't think it's worth it they will also tell you so.
