I have been looking to purchase a Gucci Disco bag in black for quite some time. I have been hoping to find a pre-loved one that would be worth saving a few extra dollars. So since I’m new to this whole luxury resale thing can anyone explain to me why anyone would purchase a pre-owned bag listed on resale sites for the same price as the bag can be purchased new? Is there something I’m missing as to how this all works? Any i formation would be greatly appreciated. TIA!!

It only works if that colour/leather type/edition is discontinued and still very popular.
I don’t know why anyone would purchase a preowned bag at or above retail unless it’s super rare, hard to get or discontinued.
