At first none of the two is a wallet, the LV is a or coin purse, and the Gucci is a card case.
You need to know which one is more essential to you and if none, consider the wallet.
Secondly, you compare canvas to leather. As much as both have pros and cons it's not the same thing. If you were to compare the vernis leather of LV to the Gucci, then i would choose the LV one as it can fit more, but then it's also 100€ more.
If you can only choose between the two, look if you use more cards or coins and go for the one you would get the more use of.

I have the Gucci card case in crocodile and it's great. I also have the sig print (Guccissima) but in a Chalk change purse and even though I use it every day it miraculously has kept really well. Both are years old.

LV all the way! Their canvas is so durable and they have many beautiful wallet styles. I love that LV wallets look new after years of use. I have two- a Rosalie and a new Zoe.
