Ladies, please help me with this. I just bought a Supreme GG Ophidia mini bag from the boutique. When I came home and showed it to my sister, she advised me to compare it with the website photos. Lo and behold, there are noticeable differences with the logo placements. Please find attached photos. I immediately called the Gucci customer service and the answer was ‘their bags are done individually/handmade so there might be differences in stitching or logo placements and if I’m not happy with the bag, I can return it.’
Oh well, does anyone else have the same experience? Thanks.

I think the CS person is telling the truth. If I look at pictures of different versions of this bag on Fashionphile ( https://www.fashionphile.com/shop?search=GG+Supreme+Monogram+Web+Mini+Ophidia+Shoulder+Bag+Brown) seems like different bags have different canvas placement.

It makes sense from a manufacturing point of view, because if you had to align the canvas exactly the same on all bags, it's increase the amount of canvas you waste.

I wouldn’t worry about it
Thanks for your responses. It is my first Gucci purchase. I thought it’s the same with LV that the pictures on the website is the same with the actual bag.

We referenced the official website photos as authentic while any deviations from it is considered otherwise. However, it seems that this is not the case with Gucci.

My bag is very similar with the one in this YT video and when I read in the comments that this is how a fake bag looks like, I was totally disheartened.
Please share your ideas about it. Thank you very much.

Unfortunately that is not the case (I don't know if it used to be). There are so many alignment issues with the logo that even I have seen several, and I'm not even an LV customer (I do browse every so often).

Thanks for your reply. That’s a good observation. I just compared my Gucci experience with that of LV since my LV bag is the same as the one online.

Did you take it to the store to show them? Also, is it easy for someone to return a fake to Gucci? There is a QR code inside the bag. Did you try scanning that?
