Hi everyone! About a month and a half ago I graduated college and decided to treat myself to my first designer bag. I went with the Gucci marmont velvet shoulder bags that are fairly new. I bought mine about a month ago from the boutique and I'm already having issues :( sadly a weird "dip" has formed at the top. I haven't used the bag much and when I do I make sure to be super careful with it. when I'm not using it, I just put it back in its dust bag. Has anyone else experienced this or anything similar?? I'm taking it to the store tomorrow so hopefully this issue can be resolved with a replacement bag or something. I know its not that big of a deal but I did pay almost $1300 for it :(

Again it looks like it is the part that sits against your body. I don’t think it is a defect. If they give you a credit, you should look into the leather ones. They hold the structure better than suede.

Bags move, sag, dip and dent as they get used. Sometimes it's what we put inside and sometimes we knock, bang or squeeze completely accidentally.

I'd just gently pad out for storage, even turning upside-down may help.

I also realized that usage is what it could be from, but it has been less than a month and I never overfill my bag. I've used it less than 10 times. I'll be going today to the boutique to see what they say. I had no idea the bag would start losing its shape in less than a month..... :( If I am able to I will def exchange for the black leather.

Thank you for the replies and ill keep you posted!

Just FYI the black leather one shows some wrinkling too. Have you considered the ophidia line?

update: so my bag was sent to the repair center and deemed defective. I'll be able to change it for something else, and I think I'd rather have the black leather version of it instead. Although I know that the bag won't keep its shape completely, I hope I don't experience any weird dips with this one! :) I do like the Ophidia line although I think the marmont is more versatile?
