Gucci marmont mini re : odd strap length?

At first I thought it was because i had a coat on, but it looks like even without a coat, the length of the strap is kinda shorter than normal bags that can be worn across the body. The bag comes above my hip. When i look at other gg marmonts, they are below others hips? I’m assuming those are different sizes from the mini?

I have this problem with a lot of bags, the marmont was too short so i went with the disco.

I noticed that too! I’m only 5’3” so I guess it’s meant to be worn as a shoulder bag that hits waist level or something.

Anyway, I went with the Marmont mini camera bag for that reason—the strap is much longer.
