Hi :smile:
I was scrolling through the website when i saw this beauty
This will be my first gucci bag so i was wondering how is the quality of gucci's metallic leather.
Because i have a gg marmont flap wallet and the edges have started to worn down eventhough i used the wallet for about a month.
Please share your thought on this bag as well :biggrin:

I don't think any metallic is ever going to be as hardy as it's plainer brothers so it's not really an everyday bag if you're really concerned, however all Gucci's products come with a year's warranty and it would be hardier and a better deal than the much more delicate embroidery, crystals and other embellished models. .

I see i never know that you get a 1 year guarantee.I've seen it at store, even brand new display piece already show peeling on the leather :sad:

That metallic bag is really beautiful and I love the look of metallic SLG’s as well. So suitable for this festive time of year. :heart:

I’ve been considering of getting a little wallet from this collection but if the leather is of delicate nature I might not pull the trigger. The corners of my light pink Marmont card holder look a little worn too and I’ve been careful with it.

I saw this online & i loved it! I went with velvet instead but both are definitely not everyday pieces. However, I have a metallic champagne ysl wallet on chain that i’ve had over two years & it looks brand new.

I have the gold and pink metallic marmont - the other colour way it came in. It comes with a weathered look unfortunately that makes it look like it’s fading. I thought I had got a used bag, but in fact they are all like that and supposed to be like that. Did you end up getting this? It’s a beauty. I want this one still!

The Gold & Pink is a gorgeous bag! Its part of the Gucci Holiday 2018 Campaign and the box that it comes in is so pretty too in Pink & Gold.

I have the metallic one from this collection and they all have the weathers looked. I thought my bag was used and they are all like this. I used it almost everyday for the last three months and it’s been fine!! It’s still leather , I think it’s ok :)
