Gucci marmont (flap) mini or small

I want to buy a new bag, marmont the flapstyle in either small or mini.
Is it very big difference in size between them? I do have a disco soho and I really like the size of it. So which of the marmont sizes would you chose?

It depends on what you want the marmont for, everyday or more casual use I'd say go for the small. Evening or occasional use go for the mini. I too struggled with this dilemma, I'll attach a pic I took of the two sizes

Its so hard to decide, do you have one? What do you think of it? I want to have it like an everyday day bag i think, but i dont have that much in my bag, iPhone 6, cardholder, sunglasses, keys and some small things. Not much at all. [emoji5]

I have the small in velvet but it's a birthday present so I haven't really used it until my birthday at the end of August. if you're unable to try the it on at a boutique before purchasing, my advice would be to measure the length of your iphone and sunglasses case and compare it against the length of both sizes, which is the better fit? If your items would fit then I guess it's a matter of which style you prefer. If they don't fit then you have your answer? Also there isn't much of a price difference, here in Australia anyway, about $270 between sizes, so that might be a factor for you too. Then again bigger isn't always better. Lastly, would you be getting it in velvet or leather and what colour are you after? In hindsight would recommend a mini for velvet, high maintainence but perfect occassional bag. With the leather only consideration is your colour wardrobe, if you were after the lighter colours you would have to be weary of colour transfer. Sorry for the essay hope my rambling was helpful.
