Does anybody know the warranty for Gucci bags. I bought the small Ophelia bag the one like the speedy and the handles are peeling. They exchanged once and they said I couldn’t bring it back again but I used it once and it has a spot peeling. They keep trying to tell me it’s wear and tear. I used it like 5 total the whole year. I use my LV more. I can’t find the warranty on the website.it’ll be a year in January. TIA

It's usually two years - or at least it was. It should be on your receipt

Just to address the title of your thread. I understand that you are angry, and anyone would be given the same scenario, but I have almost 50 Gucci bags, some that are over 60 years old and some that are less than 2 years. My other most notable bags are Hermes, Chanel and BV, I have personally found Gucci's leather among the best.

I have a couple other Gucci bags and no problems but this one is two different bags so obviously it’s defective. I have a bigger problem with their customer service. They wanna say it’s wear and tear. Even if I did wear it everyday they’re telling me it’s gonna fall apart before it’s a year old. That’s their quality?

My Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 in Damier Ebene has peeling handles. LV wouldn't even replace. I was so pissed. I know exactly how you feel.

Sorry you are going through this. I don't actually know how long but it should be at least 1 year. I suppose it depends on who you have serving you and their opinion on 'wear and tear' vs warranty. I have a Gucci marmont I bought in 2016 at Heathrow. It had an issue around a year later, and we literally happened to be in a Gucci store in Italy when the bag's edge coating cracked off the top and it clearly had to go to repair, or it would literally fall apart. They did it without question and without charge, and sent it back to my local store (I was so annoyed at the time in Italy, I then got a bag from Ferragamo next - which I had to send in 3 times to Ferragamo as the clasp kept falling off before they finally replaced it - what poor luck!)

The Gucci bag has been fine since then, but with age the the leather handle and strap had began to crack and it was my daily bag for a long time, I did not baby it. I took it to my local store last year, it was chargeable, but they sent it to Italy, changed the top handle, strap, hardware, decorative bow and re-finished the edge coating again. It cost me about USD 450. My SA told me as long as they have the leather and hardware (it is discontinued), they will do the repair and, apart from some corner wear, it looks as good as new.

Ugh that pisses me off. If I’ve had it for years and used it consistently then ya it wear and tear but if not they need to stand by their products.
I had it for a couple of years but hardly carried it. Thats why I was horrified to see the handles peeling like that. They actually said it was normal wear and tear. None of my regular bags did that. But whatever.
