Hi guys! Just bought my first (almost new) Gucci micro guccisima mini dome bag for a pretty good price.

Everything looks perfect except I noticed a few creases/cracking on the leather toward the back of the bag.

The bag still smells like outlet leather and its kindve lightweight but supple..Im wondering if theres a way I can minimize the cracks.

Is it dry?? Should I use conditioner??D881F0BC-D1D8-4959-BF64-B8143688E708.jpeg

These are creases from the bag having been dented at one point there, perhaps due to improper storage or handling. They are not cracks. The way to minimize them (although I doubt they will go away fully) is to stuff the bag with the tissue it comes with (while ensuring that this area is properly stuffed) and let the bag sit out in the air (as in not stored in its dustbag) for a few days in your home. It's how creases can be minimized on leather jackets too (they are usually hung out overnight in an open area in the home, away from moisture and sunlight, of course).

Thanks! Yes I bought the bag from a reseller, claiming It was never used so the creases surprised me since everything else looked unworn, lol.

I will try stuffing it!

I have one more question, for gucci print leather will I need to condition it eventually?

I don't think you should condition it, as it can alter the feel of the leather. I actually find that any cream or spray makes the surface feel grimy.

If you really want to protect it from moisture, then a leather water-repellent spray from a distance should suffice. I personally don't use anything on my bags now, though.

Thanks for the tips! I have the bag stuffed and alot of the creases are gone already :)
