My Jackie in python just arrived from Milan and its my first python bag. Im aware that python is delicate and problems can occur with liftning of the scales. However, this seem already to be happening as I looked or over upon arrival. Does this seem right to you?

I have many python and snakeskin bags and it's fine (and beautiful).

There are different treatments for python. Sometimes left very long, sometimes shaved very close and one can just the pattern, yours is half-way between. Python will lift, and it will lift more, but that's the nature of all natural things, it's a skin not print.

As it is a natural material, yes you should expect some natural variation.
