I own several of the GG marmont belts in different shades and am really enjoying them.
The belts replace's jewelry for me as I don't wear much of it. Their nice statement pieces when not adorned with much else on yourself.

Are they trendy? Yes and no in my opinion. The GG Logo is a classic and only difference is that the classic GG's are inverted. I still have a few from 20 years ago. GG's are going nowhere just like H isn't - both timeless.

What I really like about the GG marmont's is the light dulled antiqued brass. If the buckle was made of a highly polished shine then it would look dated quicker and I would not have purchased them.

I don't own the H belt not because I don't like them. The H is very light in weight, gets crooked, and I found myself constantly having to straighten it. I returned.

I do like Ferragamo belts as well.

I say enjoy and have fun wearing your GG Marmont belts!

I posted this pic on another thread. Here is my GG marmont collection.

The least used is red unfortunately as it's beautiful.

PS. Please store your belts rolled in a drawer. If you want to wear the belt higher on waist it will curve naturally right around your body instead of sticking out straight!

Hi- who knows if anyone will see this because your post is from 2019. I just bought that pink one from 2019. It’s almost unused and much more stiff than I expected, much more than my 1 inch GG belt in black which is totally different material. It sticks out , as you said. worn on the smallest hole as a waist belt. This is from not having kept it rolled up, not a flaw in the belt? I was quite surprised By this feature. Thanks for your guidance!!

Hi, I got your message. The colors are a bit stiffer than the black. I ended up loving and using the neutral pink which is a pinky beige to me the most. It seems to go good with all cooler tones. I think you might have the wrong size if it's sticking out that much and rolling won't help that much. I'll bet a size down would be much better. I still have them all and wear them all the time. I can wear either the 80 or 85 but found the 80 much better. Who knew? I bought the 80 in a tan and love it as it does not wrap around much. but keep them rolled. I could kick myself as 80 would have been better. haha.

By the way, I've grown to love the 3 hole red and wear it with denim, white blouse as an accent piece.
