Just FYI this is NOT a thread complaining about the quality of Gucci but rather a fun story that I wanna tell you guys.
I got a call today regarding my DIY silk blouse. I was so excited!
My beautiful tian silk blouse here just in time for my summer party for work. I rush to the store right after work. My lovely SA had the blouse and she bought me taro bubble tea.
I went into the changing room and took a few pictures of the blouse and notified it looked a little bit odd and droopy. I was like whatever, I’m gonna try it on!!! Then I was like....this feels really weird...why is it so tight under my armpit.
My SA came to help me and she was like it is designed so that you can wear backward. I was like...but I can’t even move my arm up and here when I wear with the buttons in the front. She was like...weird...then we started our investigation.
She helped me put my blouse backward with the buttons in the back and it fit really well. She took some pictures to send it to the DIY guy. Then I had an idea. I was like let’s wear this blouse inside out with the buttons in the front and it fit decently well.
What we concluded was that the person that made the blouse might have cut the panels with the wrong side up and then sewn it together. I swear when I tried the blouse when the DIY guy was here, I had the buttons in the front just with a different print. I didn’t know you can wear it backward. I think the person that made the blouse is trolling me.
Anyway here are some pictures of the blouse. It has a cool DIY hanger too. You can see from the pictures that the construction is a bit weird and it has a lot of excessive fabric in the front. Now I just gotta wait for them to...make me a new one? Hopefully I don’t have to wear my tian silk bomber backward.
Thanks for letting me share this story.
To be continued.
