Gucci Dionysus WOC | Chain rubbing against inner flap?

Hello everyone! I have had my Gucci Dionysus WOC for a year now, and I have realised that the inner flap is being “chafed” by the chain. It’s soo frustrating!! Does anybody know how I can fix this - does Gucci offer a repair service for this that anybody knows of?

I read through some old posts, and saw that some people advised that this can happen due to “overstuffing” the bag. It’s so frustrating because I usually only carry around lip balm, my keys and my phone but I went travelling recently and started carrying around a mini hand sanisiter too - and I think that might have pushed it over the edge! *sigh* The things we do for our love of bags! I suppose I need to omit the hand sanitiser now!F65D72B6-DE3F-40B1-9FA9-55550C891B7C.jpeg016E8847-FC49-40AE-946E-2B33C403FD62.jpeg

Gucci used to guarantee for a year so look at your receipt, although I don't know if they'll think this is wear and tear. Certainly worth asking your SA to have a look.

You can probably polish that out a bit with clear leather cream as it looks like a (deep) scuff. It won't come out like new but it will lessen the appearance.

Not wanting to make light of this issue, but one of the reasons I hate all chain bags is they are bound to destroy one's clothes or even the bag itself. Nature of the beast IMO.

Thank you so much for your advice, I will look at testing out clear leather cream. I think you’re right about this falling outside the scope of Gucci’s guarantee policy.

Ah - I wish I had known that this was a common outcome of chain bags…:hrmm:
