Gucci Dionysus vs Sylvie

Hi everyone,
I need help deciding which gucci bag to purchase as my first one! I've been keeping an eye on the dionysus bag for a while and I was pretty sure i wanted the dionysus bag until i saw the sylvie bag online. I was wondering if anyone own any of the two? Which one do you like better and which style do you think is more classic? I'm really having difficulties in choosing a bag right now :confused1:

It is tough to say which is more classic. Since there are several styles, sizes, and materials within each collection, perhaps a photo or link would generate more feedback. Try them out and your heart will tell you.:flowers:

I was the same. Thought I preferred the Dionysus at first but now I'm also into the Sylvie. It would depend on which particular models you are considering. I think the Dionysus is more classic but the Sylvie is a bit more interesting, which is great for making a statement.

I have the Sylvie and my friend has the Dionysus. We went with each other to buy our respective bags. I honestly think its dependent on taste. I love my Sylvie on me and I love the Dionysus on her.

Dionysus gets my vote. While both are beautiful bags, the Sylvia is more of an occasional/ occasion bag, while the Dionysus is very versatile and can even be a daily bag. No " wrong" decision here!

I think the Dionysus is more mature and elegant while the Sylvie is more girly and trendy. I think Dionysus can stand the test of time more. But Sylvie is more in at the moment, more "right now".

Dionysus! While I love both, the Dionysus looks more classy and it's pretty versatile. The Sylvie looks too busy for me. The ones that look more neutral are pretty pricey compared to the others.

Personally I could live without the Sylvie but not the Dio. :lol:

I was in the same dilemma. Both bags are very beautiful. After trying and comparing, I came home with my lovely Dionysus in black leather. She is more elegant and versatile. But then it's my personal opinion :)
