I own this bag in the black suede and I LOVE IT. I love the bag so much I got over the fact that it was suede. I did not protect it with anything as I do not want to ruin my bag in any way shape or form. Sometimes I notice marks but it is something I can brush out with my fingers (although I try not to because the oils) or wirh a suede brush. The other night I left it in the car because it was misty outside and it was an outdoor mall. Overall the sionysus is sturdy bag as it is and I am sure the suede although difficult it will also with stand the test of time. I would not change mine for any other color/fabric if I had the chance!For those who own this with the suede...how's the upkeep on the suede? I imagine the canvas is sturdy, but how does the suede hold up to weather..rain..etc? Do you use anything to prevent stains or anything to clean after?
