Hi everyone! I just purchased my first Gucci purse online and I’m so excited!!! It’s the Gucci small Ophidia Boston purse! It’s supposed to arrive Friday via FEDEX. My question is I collect the boutique shopping bags for my walk in closet. I decorate my walls with them. I realize I am not going to receive one having made an online purchase but the purse wasn’t available in any local stores and I logged in at the right time today. It had been unavailable online too! Do you think if I went into a Gucci boutique and showed my online purchase receipt, explaining I collect the shopping bags, would they give me one? This was my only issue purchasing online! I’m also praying I get a new bag, not one that’s been returned as this has happened to me alot with Louis Vuitton! Any insight you can give would be greatly appreciated to a new Gucci girl!! TIA!

You will get a canvas Gucci bag with online purchase. They give all different sizes. I even got a small one with a lipstick purchase (and a larger one with a bag purchase). Have no idea about going into a store to ask.
Just walk in and ask for one. I purchase from the store and have it shipped to my home and they seem to always forget my shopping bag. Now I have to make another trip to the store for the shopping bag. Going forward when I'm shipping back to my house I started telling the Sa please include all of my ribbons, bows, tissue paper, shopping bag etc.
Get all of that from the boutique. Chanel pissed me off. I brought back the merchandise back to the boutique after it shipped to my home and made them give me everything at the counter like I just purchased from the boutique. I was livid but I work near these boutiques.

I’ve ordered several items on line recently and never received a shopping bag. Came in a Gucci box, with dust bag and an extra canvas bag. I’ve purchased bags and lipsticks online within the last couple months.
I’m in the US. Hoping I’ll get the bag but I’m thinking I’ll have to go to the boutique!
For those that ordered online recently…. Any issues with the bags when they arrived? I tried to get this bag in the 2 boutiques near me but they were floor models. One had funky stitching in the first boutique. The second boutique had scratched leather. I want a perfect bag for my money!!!
