Gucci backorder 2019

Hello everyone! I know there are old threads about Gucci's backordered items. I'm wondering if anyone has recent experience with having purchased a backordered item in 2019.

I purchased the GG Supreme Key Case, and the backorder date has been changed once already. Is the date going to keep changing or will the item ship at the next backorder date? Thank you!!

I'm not saying it will happen same to you but my experience with backorder was the order kept getting delayed. I received 3 updates that my order was further delayed before I decided to cancel the order.

Thank you for the heads up! This is something I've been preparing myself for. I hope I receive the item, but I also feel that I'll have to end up canceling my order after so many changes in dates. Thank you again!!

Update: Talked to a Gucci sales associate on the website chat. My shipment is 2-4 weeks away. Being shipped from Italy!

Letting you all know incase you purchased a backordered item recently. If you're unsure what will happen, use the chat to ask!! I hope this helps someone else. : )
