Gucci Aged Brass Hardware

Hey guys! I have a question regarding the Gucci aged brass hardware. Is the hardware meant to look scratched and slightly oxidized? I recently bought a large black leather Gucci print belt bag and upon inspecting it noticed faint scratches all over the zipper slider and light oxidization. I know it's meant to have a worn vintage feel to it but I'm a bit confused as to what to expect. Comments are appreciated.

Supposed to look oxidized and distressed. There shouldn’t be actual scratches just a finish that imitates them (faux patina).

Should look like faux finis paint/lacquer on kitchen cabinets if that makes sense.

Thanks for your comment, I attached pictures to better illustrate what I see. There are a lot of scratches visible under certain angles, but when you move the zipper slide, they seem to disappear and there's some oxidized coating on it as well.
