GST or Modern Chain tote? help!

Hi ladies!! I'm a Chanel newbie..I'm looking to get a great everyday black leather bag. I have an 18 month old and I want something big enough to carry all her stuff, but comfy to wear too. Which bag do you recommend?
GST or Modern Chain tote? I love both but is the GST too big and heavy?

My vote goes to the Modern Chain tote. The GST is a great classic tote, but too rigid and too big for petite, tiny me. I also love the slouchiness of the Modern Chain, not to mention its edgy look.

I voted GST because I love mine but the modern chain tote looks great, I would suggest you try both on at a Chanel Boutique & see which one you prefer.

i prefer the classic look of GST. but it's heavier and bulky than the modern chain tote. not good for an all-around, comfy bag.

I voted for the Modern Chain Tote because, like Nat, I just love slouchy bags. However, you probably won't go wrong with either of them, they're beautiful

That's what I thought too! I can't carry bags that are heavy since the moment I put stuff in it it gets wayyy too heavy for me to carry around! I love the look of the modern chain though...if weight is an issue for you (like it is for me) definitely try and carry it in store to see!

The MC is heavy, even empty. The GST will get heavy as you fill it. . .
