Gryson vs MJ -- weight

How is the weight of the Gryson bags compared to the Marc Jacobs? I've found the MJ's to be quite heavy with nothing in them. I'm interested in the Gryson Skye, but haven't checked it out IRL.

Which MJ styles are you comparing them to?
Gryson bags are lighter than most MJ bags.

No, the skye is smaller than the stam. And the stam is quite a bit heavier.

Skye (9"H x 14"W x 6"D)
MJ's Hudson (10.5" H x 14.5" W x 7" D)
MJ's Stam (11 x 16 x 6")

Gryson's Skye (9"H x 14"W x 6"D) is the same size as Chloe's Zippy
Gryson's Olivia (12"H x 17"W x 9" D) is a little bit bigger than MJ's Stella (11"H x 17"W x 5"D)
Chloe's Paddington Satchel (8"H x 14 2/3"W x 7 1/2"D)
MJ's Quilted Blake (8.5"x13"x6")

Olivia is lighter than Hudson & Stam, you should be okay with Skye. =)

I agree... The Skye is lighter... I think maybe the large metal chain on the Stam is what makes the difference.
