I looked at this bag. That is very heavy staining (color transfer) for that price IMO, clearly visible in the photos (and noted in the condition description). You will have to see if the color transfer can be removed. I hope it can!

May be you can take picture yourself and let’s us know. From the site, it looks in excellent condition. I remember adding this bag to my cart when they had the additional 10% off. I would buy it if I am looking for this size. For size 28 and with this combo, it is rare to find it. The only negative thing to me was it’s age other than that price is right I think

This was a pretty bag with bad color transfer staining that I would not carry as is (and my bar is not that high!) and I cannot imagine the owner would not have tried removing that before reselling. That said, I have bought bags with marks that were easily removable.

I have a feeling, though, that we are not going to get an update here.....

The bag is not overpriced at all considering the age, size and condition. Fashionphile have made a mistake in determining the age of bag. Features of this bag are not consistent with 2004 Kelly bag. That bag is made 2015 and has T stamp.

If you feel like paying almost retail for a bag with staining that the seller either couldn't remove or didn't bother to remove (unlikely), you are welcome to do so, but the damage on this bag is clear, and noted in description. I personally would buy new at boutique for a few hundred more.........

Perhaps the bags was sizably discounted due to the stain? I don’t know just saying lol

I think the pricing definitely reflects the stain. I would call this: desirable size + desirable color + silly Fashionphile markup...minus bad color transfer stains...that is how you get to 9.5K on a bag that FP would otherwise price around 11-12K or more. It is NOT worth it IMO unless the stains can be taken off.

However, again, the buyer seems uninterested in updating anyone, so.....

It seems some folks here do not understand my point. Color transfer is clearly visible and is described in the listing. I'm sure buyer also didn't miss it before he spent $9500. That Kelly is 2015 bag not 2004 and if the Fashionphile knew it the price can go higher. In the buyer's mind 3 year old bag is not the same as 14 year. Several post above (#8 ) potential buyer said that the only negative thing to him was the age of the bag so in this case the age is not problem anymore because is only 3 years old.

I hope the buyer pays attention to the stain as well lest we are all subject to yet another showdown thread with 30 pages going on and on about how resellers are dubious yadi yadi yada...I have witnessed enough meltdowns on this forum to warrant such Caveat Emptor
